Welcome to my website. Home of Eric Sanders solo pianist and Visions of a Dream, eclectic band featuring Eric Sanders on keyboard/piano and Tony Tortora on bass/flute and Ward Wilson on percussion.

After many months of writing and recording I'm thrilled to announce the release of my second album "The Yearning Curve", a collection of original keyboard compositions which is a continuation from my first project "Premature Evacuation" which I released in 2010. My music is eclectic, original and cinematic with songs that range from hard driving edgy blues to soothing, rich and stylish jazz passages, emotionally charged, compelling and passionate.  For me this music is a reflection of colors and textures, telling a story from a book written without words. There are 14 new chapters to this book. Enjoy the story.

If you should honor me by purchasing a CD or downloading any or all songs, I will be donating 10% of any profits to the Humane Society and the ASPCA. Please sign up on my guestbook for upcoming events and new music, or to book for a private party or event. I appreciate your feedback. Thanks!

International Recognition: I've sold CDs from coast to coast since inception and now at the close of my first month I am officially an international recording artist as a gentleman from Moscow, Russia has purchased my album. Check out the CDs when you have a chance!

I suffer for my music. Now it’s your turn.

Eric’s first introduction to playing music was at the local “Y” in Perth Amboy, New Jersey when he sat down at the piano and worked out his first 12 bar blues after hearing a song on the jukebox. That song ultimately became track number 12, "Edgy" on the album. Not having a piano at home yet, he took up the trumpet and learned to play during middle school and then played in the high school’s concert, marching and swing bands. He was really moved by blues and rock, learned the drums and played with a local rock band. But the piano kept drawing his interest and his parents purchased one. Eric took 4 years of lessons in high school starting with standards but moving on to jazz. Over the years, he developed his own style and started composing original songs with influences ranging from Keith Jarrett to Scott Joplin and Ray Charles. Eric currently resides in Chattanooga, Tennessee and his music ranges from hard driving edgy blues to soothing, rich and stylish jazz passages, with elements of classical and boogie woogie, emotionally charged, compelling and passionate.

I hope you enjoy my music and that it has stirred some emotions in you. I welcome your feedback as I am in the process of writing new songs.

Thanks,  Eric
