Eric Sanders/ Visions of a Dream: News

Radio Play April 30, 2011 - May 7, 2011

Saturday, April 30th, 2011:  With the Jazz Fest going on in New Orleans WMNF 88.5 Tampa DJ Cheryl Mogul played a string of songs dedicated to the festival. The first song played was the first track "Jambalaya" from my CD.  The song is not the original one from years ago but is my own original composition as are all the others. Having lived in New Orleans for several years inspired me to write the song. Enjoy a taste of "Jambalaya".

Radio Play: WMNF-88.5 FM Tampa FL. - April 16, 2011

Saturday, April 16th, 2011:  This evening radio station 88.5 Tampa WMNF's DJ extraordinaire Cheryl Mogul played another song from my debut CD. "Hey Ray" aired about 8:30pm during Cheryl's diversified programming of music which includes songs from every genre. "Hey Ray" is a song I wrote that resulted from the inspiration and influence of Ray Charles' profound impact on blues music. His deep and soulful piano playing has enriched my life in music and the song I wrote is a result of the feelings stirred up in me from listening to his songs.

Radio On Air Play - February 19, 2011

Radio Play: WMNF-88.5 FM Tampa FL. For the second time in 2 weeks I've had a song from my CD played on air. On Jan. 31st Blues DJ Larry Lisk played "Loose & Juicy" on Mo Blues Monday show. Larry is the man with the Blues in Tampa. Every style of blues can be heard on his gem of a show. This evening Cheryl Mogul fired up the skillet with "Broken Eggs", an upbeat, driving blues tune on her show Saturday Soulful Soiree. Her eclectic show covers soul, blues, jazz and world music. Check out and listen to her show on their archives. Not only the best little radio station in this area but the only one of it's kind in Florida. Not only will you hear music by the household names you'll also hear an array of independent musicians such as myself playing every genre of music to be heard.

International Recognition - February 13, 2011

International Recognition: I released my debut CD and launched my website over New Year's eve weekend. As I mentioned I will be donating 10% of any profits to the Humane Society and the ASPCA. I haven't gotten there yet but am well on my way to achieving my goal. I've sold CDs from coast to coast since inception and on Friday I am officially an international recording artist as a gentleman from Moscow, Russia has purchased a copy of my album. Thought that was pretty cool and a nice start for my first month.
